The aesthetics industry has grown hugely over the last few years, which is fantastic as there are now more treatment options available than ever before. However, it can also make choosing the right practitioner a little overwhelming.
One of the questions I often get asked is “What makes a medical led clinic different?”
As an Independent Nurse Prescriber with over 10 years of clinical experience, my approach has always been that patient safety comes first. Whilst achieving beautiful results is important, I believe treatments should always be carried out with a thorough understanding of anatomy, skin health and each patient’s individual needs.
At Amethyst Clinic, every patient journey starts with a consultation. We take the time to understand your concerns, discuss your goals and create a personalised treatment plan rather than simply treating what is visible on the surface.
Over the years, I’ve found that many patients come to us wanting a specific treatment, whether that’s anti wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, microneedling, IPL skin rejuvenation or skin boosters. However, once we’ve explored their concerns in more detail, we often discover there may be a more suitable approach to help them achieve the result they’re looking for.
I strongly believe that good aesthetics shouldn’t be about changing how you look. It should be about helping you feel more confident, refreshed and comfortable in your own skin.
One of the best parts of my job is seeing the subtle changes that can have such a positive impact on someone’s confidence. Sometimes it’s a patient who finally feels comfortable leaving the house without makeup, someone whose rosacea has improved significantly or a patient who simply tells me they look less tired and more like themselves again.
At Amethyst Clinic in Bingley, we offer a wide range of treatments including anti wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, IPL skin rejuvenation, Hydrafacial, microneedling and advanced medical grade skincare. However, the treatment itself is only one part of the journey.
Lifestyle, stress levels, sleep, hydration, nutrition and skincare all play a role in how our skin ages and heals. That’s why we take a holistic approach and look at the bigger picture when creating treatment plans.
My goal has never been to create identical results for every patient. Instead, I want each person who walks through our doors to leave feeling like the very best version of themselves.
If you’re considering aesthetic treatment and would like honest advice about the options available, we’d be delighted to welcome you to Amethyst Clinic in the heart of Bingley.
After all, aesthetics isn’t about looking different. It’s about feeling confident in the skin you’re in.
